I was shocked to see this Japan team score in their first match, and
I'd be even more shocked to see them do it against the Dutch, too.

I'll predict the goals to come late then the Dutch take their foot off
the gas: 2-0.

NED players establishing their midfield discipline and rhythm in the
first 10-15', as it seems they always do. Part of a warm up I think,
as well as showing the opponent just how much control they intend to
exert. I have always found it admirable.

NED beat JAP 3-0 in the last match, which probably explains 'anders_t'
prediction. I have predicted a 1-0 NED victory, given the absence of
predictability of these group matches

At some point, the Oranje are thinking the Japanse will make the
mistake of pushing too much forward and abandon their duty. Okada
likely told his team to get the draw as their high (only?) priority
today, and will instead take more chances in offense against Denmark.
The Dutch want to know they go through today, and then give minutes
next week to bench players.
