Replay of Sneijder goal shows Kawashima (substitute keeper?) as he
falls in midair watching to see if he had deflected it sufficiently
and groaning just as he hits the ground flat on his back, after seeing
the ball go inside.

Okada brings in Nakamura at 64' for more offense. He wants this draw,
even if it risks opening the defense and losing 2-0.

van Marwuk brings in a forward (Elia) for a midfielder (van der Vaart)
at just beyond the halfway point of the 2nd period.

Just to scare the Japanese from pushing too far forward? Take
advantage of Japanese letting the goal go?

Okada knows with 15 min left, he needs that equalizer to draw, so
brings in forward (Okazaki) and the midfield captain (Hasebe) goes
out. No strategy to figure out there.

Sneijder out for midfield Affelay with only several minutes left. The
Japanese just cannot control the midfield to get something to the
increased numbers of forwards.
