Yes. he was the one who helped Ozil do all those playmaker stuff (the
goal Ozil scored was because Muller spotted him). He scored 5 goals,
but 3 other important assists which he could have scored himself. Even
the third goal he scored against England (for which Schweini got an
assist was an assist from Muller himself to Schweini). I thought he
was a lot creative than Ozil. Ozil kind of slipped away in some
matches. Muller was always troubling each and every opponent.

Perhaps you go and review the folloing goals:

Germany - Argentina 2-0
Germany - Argentina 3-0
Germany - Argentina 4-0
Germany - England 2-0
Germany - England 3-1
Germany - England 4-1
Germany - Ghana 1-0
Germany - Australia 1-0
Germany - Australia 3-0
Germany - Australia 4-0

Furthermore you should check some great scenes like the Muller chance
at Min. 53 against Australia and some other great stuff including fast
doublepasses that didn't result in a goal.

The reason that "Authorities" want soccer to be inherently low-scoring
is because most of its followers world-wide can't count past five.

Is that why you follow it?

I forgot Peter Schmeichel of Denmark. May consider him an all time
great goalkeeper worthy of being in the list with Maradona, Pele,
Beckenbauer etc.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Schmeichel

Today, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers in the
history of football. The IFFHS ranked Schmeichel among the top ten
keepers of the 20th century in 2000,[2] and in 2001, Schmeichel won a
public poll held by Reuters, when the majority of the 200,000
participants voted him as the best goalkeeper ever, ahead of Lev
Yashin and Gordon Banks.[3] In 2003, Schmeichel was inducted into the
English Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his impact on the
English game. In March 2004, he was named as one of the "125 greatest
living footballers", at the FIFA 100 celebrations.
