I think they are bound to be approached by the tabloids for their story (in exchange for loads of dosh) and only then will they "demand answers" and put on a show of grief and regret.

What kind of excuse is that for not bothering to get in touch for years? I can fully understand why Moat thought that his brother didn't care about him at all.
