I'll say! Lampard seems to be saying that al All-star team from the
EPL would beat the all-star team from any other league in the world.
It might, but it would have one Englishman on it--Wayne Rooney,
sitting on the bench as a sub.

If I had been around longer? I've been watching World Cups since 1978.
I think that's long enough. So it's mostly "continentals" who have
been playing up their chances? With every newspaper now on the
internet you just can't seriously say that. The English people and
press are obviously surprised by the poor performance so far.
Personally I'm not surprised. England have always been on a level
below the top teams ever since I have been watching world cups and
this team doesn't seem to be any different. Lampard, the British
press, and many other Englishmen seem to think they are on the same
level as the top teams which is why they are so disappointed with the
performance of the team. I stand by what I say. Maybe they are just
not as good as they think they are.

As long as they have European passports I think there is no limit.
It's probably something they should change in the EPL and other
European leagues. Especially in EPL it's hurting the English players.
You also don't exactly see many English players playing in the top
leagues outside of England either.

They should get a new manager and pay him 10 times what Domenech makes.
It'll fix everything, right?

Are you looking to clutch at every available straw in Domenech's
defense?
