From: Achtungbaby on 17 Mar 2007 10:59 My years subscription which cost 15 ran out this February. The 15 came out automatically a few days ago causing me to go overdrawn and resulting in me being charged 25 by my bank. I cannot get access to LFO as i'm unauthorised and can't get access to the LFO website either. I'm asking them to now authorise me so i can at least use the service (which i did'nt want to continue after my years subscription was complete) Its now looking like no service until i send them another 5 I was told it was 15 and thats wgat they have taken automatically. Is this fair? I feel it's a poor show and it would not happen on the high street. Does anyone have any advice apart from sending them another 5 which will result in another 25 charge from my bank? Ray

It was 9 when I joined and has rapidly risen to 20 with one stream less. At first they were more than helpful but over time they copped more attitude towards the punters. The great thing about LFO is there is hardly any buffering compared to the other p2p streams, however, their codec is pish and the free sites have better picture quality.

Very unprofessional. I have raised a dispute with paypal and my bank as i have paid for something and received no item basically, a virtual item in this case. It would not happen on the high street and they seem to think everyone has a moderate to high IT knowledge and assume we have accessed all parts of the website where 'small print' such as 'automatic subscriptions and its up to the customer to cancel information & no refunds etc' can be found. again, this is should be done more professionally and customer friendly. My formal email highlighting this has been ignored aswell. Let it be said though...I've had no problems up until now but greed appears to be showing through at the end of the day.

This happened to a guy in the work as well. But he got an email asking for him to pay the difference by paypal, but he certainly wasn't barred while payment was pending. BTW you do know that the site is run by ICF casuals, don't you?
