Latin America is a mix of many races. Uruguay and Argentina have a lot
of people with European roots. Especially from Italy and Spain. Brazil
has more blacks because they had slavery. Some countries have more
people with mixed Indian roots. I think Maradona is a mix of Italian
and Indian. Messi's ancestors are Italian.

I read somewhere that Maradona is a Spanish surname, with
origin in San Pedro de Arantes, Galicia. I also thought it
was an Italian surname. In Spanish it sounds Italian, anyway.
