What that means to the actual paying guests is that the place does not get super crowded with people just coming for a look as do a lot of the other resorts around there. And the limiting factor is time, especially for the first time visitor. You can spend hours each day just waiting in queues if you insist on doing the most popular thing at the peak time of day. There are times when you can hardly move in the big three, Bellagio, Ceasar's Palace, and Venetian. So you want to get as many reservations as you can to avoid that. In my opinion the sightseeing and entertainment treasure of the Strip is New York, New York. That place is a trip no matter if viewed from the outside or the inside. So the trick is to go to the Mandalay Bay and ooh and ahh over that place and the spectacular pool. Then get on the tram and go to Excalibur. But skip the tour of Luxor and Excalibur and walk across the street on the elevated walkway to New York, New York. Then Monte Carlo which is okay, then Aria, then cross the street back to the Paris. Tropicana is absolutely worthless. Best ones: Caesar's Palace Bellagio Venetian/Palazzo Wynn/Encore New York, New York Aria/City Center certainly worth a look Mirage Treasure Island O'Sheas Harrah's Imperial Palace Casino Royale MGM Planet Hollywood okay ones Luxor Excalibur total rubbish Tropicana Bally's Circus Circus Stratosphere Riveria special interest Hard Rock Palms off the beaten path Rio M Red Rock Green Valley Ranch South Point best buffet: Bellagio or Wynn best steakhouse: Del Frisco or a host of others best nightclubs XS - Encore Tryst - Wynn Tao - Venetian Pure - Caesars Palace any club at Hard Rock of Palms Best adult pool party: Wet Republic at MGM. Best adult dancing girl club: Spearmint Rhino best bar anything of about 200 best shopping- depends on your budget but Premium Outlets is the most popular top shows O at Bellagio Jersey Boys at Palazzo Love at Mirage La Reve at Wynn that about does it for a thumbnail sketch then
