The Arseblog has stated that we stand to lose 6 points from the 2
matches we played against them. Is there any truth in this and do any
other clubs stand to possibly have points deducted on account of Pompey
maybe going through the hoop ?

Basically all PFC's results will be annulled. So, for instance, City will
also lose 6 points. This will only happen if they're actually wound up. It's
far more likely that they'll simply be put into administration, at least in
the short term.

Yes, you lose six points and Liverpool were defeated by Pompey so they stay
the same points.

Going to get interesting.

Well I hope "+mr cakey" above (or below depending on how you read these
threads) is correct, as the option of them going bust will be a blow to
the Arsenal.

Actually a double blow - English footie will lose credibility in such a
way as to enable Michelle Platini to implement his masterplan of tying
club expenditure to turnover, ensuring Man Utd are permanently champions
and Liverpuddle strong candidates for second place (if they get a
manager who understands the English league).

Not that I'm pissed at Michelle Platini for ignoring my suggestion of
inviting Togo to participate in the European Championships while they
serve their indefensible African suspension.
