From: Lawrence Jenkins on 31 Jul 2010 18:06 Just watched the Arsenal AC Milan game and my thoughts turned to next weeks Community Shield on Sunday okay it's not important but blimey I'm looking forward to it. Ryan's 14th Charity Shield if he plays and that was a record already let alone appearing next week. Are Chelsea now an old side in decline are United now a very young side a club that can explode? We've some fabtastic young players and some fantasitic mid career players and some fantastic players in their last few season. we could probably field three sides . Hernandez looks very mouth watering an explosive player I believe. wayne will be chomping at the bit after the dissapointing end to last season and the WC. Berby will, surely at last step up and show his finest form. We have Michael Owen eager to get back . Nani really came to life last season. Blimey I've only dealt with the attack and I've missed some. I'll leave the midfield and defence to some one else.

This is a massive re-build year for us, I expect us to do very well but a top 4 place would be a great acheivement with so many young kids in the squad. The London based media have been wanking themselves silly over the supposed "Kids" at arsenal for years, we don't get any such attention which is a good thing as far as I am concerned! United fans need to have patience this season. That said i expect that we'll farm a lot of the young lads out to other clubs. RED DEVIL
