From: The Scrutineer on 15 Jul 2010 11:19 Thierry Henry (32) announced his retirement from international football, finishing with a World Cup, and a European Championship, while top scoring for France in the WC in 1998, and finishing the all time record goal scorer with 51 goals in 123 matches. This may be harsh, but his international career ended in the worst possible fashion, in fact, im prepared to say it ended in absolute disgrace in my opinion. The lowest of lows, absolutely farcical!!! While Englishman Emile Heskey (32) also announced his retirement, after making 62 appearances he managed to score 7 goals, and will forever be remembered as being part of the 5-1 massacre of Germany and the guy who *everyone loves to play with*, which for me remains to be seen if they are indeed talking about on the actual football field!!! Craig Moore of Australia has retired from international football, and all football after having a great career for both Australia and most notable for Rangers in Scotland, a fine career mate, in particular soldiering on from testicular cancer. Top effort!!! Congrats on the fine careers of all the players!!!

Doesn't mean you have to stick two on the pitch. Hell even rolling the dice on a young kid wouldn't have been a bad thing.
