Sounds like reverse-psychology. Germany has been the most impressive
side and have some key veterans, particularly the Poles, who played in
2006 and at 2008 euros.

Germany has to be the choice right now, though of course it won't
surprise anyone if Spain or the Dutch win.

I can't remember either North, nor South-Pole at WC2006.

I have seen those Poles play live during the last season. They are
overrated by uninformed Americans.

Spain is the favourite.
They have been playing great football for years. Germany had only 3
good matches.

If Spain can play like they did up until June 2010, they are
favorites. If they play like in the last three weeks (against weaker
opponents than Germany had to play) they will have a very tough time
against Germany.

I'd dare say also Peru was quite good, the Poles demolished them, but after
the 1st half I was giving them the same chances, they had a very bad 5
minutes in the second half, when the Poles scored 3 times, and that was the
end of it. I actually saw the match with 2 people who had a big falling out
about that match (at the end of the 1st half one had forecasted the Poles
were going to win as they had played badly the 1st half, they did bet on
that, and obviously the looser of the bet didn't like the way that ended).

Cameroon was a very good team as well, that year they went out undefeated
from both the Africa Cup and the World Cup, their defense was excellent, up
there with anyone else really, only they were probably not believing enough
in their abilities.
