Indeed.

And it seems we are assured a brand new WC quarterfinalist. Neither
Japan nor Paraguay has done it before, IIRC.

A penalty as clear as the light of day, although there should be no
shortage of diving accusations for Agger.

FT
Cameroon 1-2 Netherlands (Eto'o 65' PK - Van Persie 36', Huntelaar
83')
Denmark 1-3 Japan (Tomasson 81' - Honda 17' FK, Endo 30' FK, Okazaki
87')

Standings
1. Netherlands 9
2. Japan 6
3. Denmark 3
4. Cameroon 0

The Netherlands join Argentina in the club of favorites that easily
won their groups.
Great match by Japan to oust Denmark. The Asians' match against
Paraguay is wide open, there are no favorites.

Round of 16:

Uruguay-South Korea
USA-Ghana
Argentina-Mexico
Germany-England
Netherlands-Slovakia
Paraguay-Japan

Also qualified: Brazil

In the fight for the remaining 3 spots: Portugal, Ivory Coast
(theoretical chances only), Chile, Spain, Switzerland, Honduras

Eliminated: South Africa, France, Greece, Nigeria, Slovenia, Algeria,
Australia, Serbia, Denmark, Cameroon, New Zealand, Italy, North Korea

These are already showing up, that didn't take long... I thought the
penalty was a bit soft, but Hasebe did seem to be pushing Agger so
there you have it.

Japan almost added a very nice fourth goal. Nice celebration at the
sidelines after the game.
