Not only yours I think. Not many people believed Japan could
realistically fight for a 2nd round spot, IIRC. Indeed, I would guess
that only Honduras, NZ and NK were given even less credit before the
WC kicked off.

milivella's research about Vasco is still a possibility :-) (that was
your bet, wasn't it?)
