It's time to go with players whose names are names:

Tomas and Johan(sson)

(but I guess I could have chosen Pino and Carey as well)

The anti-spelling and anti-pronunciation squad continues its pursuit
of excellence by signing Dzodic and Ingimarsson.

First of all, my deepest apologies for taking so long with this. I
just didn't knew what to do from this point on!

After the Nosworthy dilemma, I thought I wouldn't be having problems
at the RB position for a while, but what did I know? I never thought I
would dream of having Evanilson on my team (well played, Daniele).

Then, there was a ridiculous dearth of DM/CM talent in this pool (ok,
ok, there was a dearth of talent everywhere, but you get my point).

So I actually analysed 5 (!) different possible pairs to draft, and
how would I play them (including position changes for previously
picked players). There was only one possible conclusion: I was way
overthinking this and nothing I could possible make, nothing at all,
would significantly improve my chances of doing well in this matchup.
Nothing.

(Of course, there probably is a "more correct" choice at this point.
I'm just saying that, to the best of my [lack of] knowledge, there's
nothing much I can do right now).

So I decided to go with my instincts and get this done with. I predict
a clear defeat, because I assume Daniele knows what he's doing (I kind
of know too, but "kind of" is the key here).

I pick Mostto and Carey.

Here is my lineup:

RD Carey, Louis (Scotland / England, Bristol City)
CD Dzodic, Nenad (Serbia / France, Montpellier Hérault SC)
CD Ingimarsson, Ívar (Iceland, Reading)
LD Juanfran (Spain, AEK)
RM Juanfran (Spain, Osasuna)
CM Sokolowski, Marek (Poland, Polonia Warszawa)
CM Winsnes, Fredrik (Norway, Strømsgodset)
LM Dzsudzsák, Balázs (Hungary, PSV)
FS Mostto, Miguel (Peru, Bolognesi)
TS Chrisantus, Macauley (Nigeria, Karlsruhe)

Here are Futbolmetrix's picks and the remaining players:

Let's say I "opted"! =)

In reality, though, it felt like it was the only choice I had, given
other selections I needed to make, combined to your picks. But you are
correct in your description of our choices anyway.

That was not my intention! Ok, maybe it was a little bit. But I'm
honestly not confident about this one.
