So much for French ‘enlightenment’ and ‘reason’ overcoming a backward
Catholic country like Mexico. I bet they are crying into their
yarmulkes in the Grande Loge de France this morning.

France always *has* blamed it's leaders and not it's soldiers.

I find it appropriate, however, that the goal that sealed the result came by
virtue of a dive 8-)
