sorry that you don't watch enough football to know that this is nearly
always a yellow card. You really should watch more.

*snore* *snore* Wait, there was a first half???

Well, not completely without drama. Govou missed a sitter in the 7th
minute for France as Ribery should've gotten an assist on that one.

Forlan got the one decent chance Uruguay have chosen to take, forcing
a good save in the 16th.

Two minutes later, Gourcuff, the French free-kick specialist, nearly
bends one into the top near corner and the keeper for Uruguay needed a
good leaping stab.

Then the game went bland. It really does look like France _should_
eventually score. Uruguay appear to be playing for one point here.

Anelka did get a decent header on a cross about two minutes from half
time, but not much of a first half here.
