Spain has gotten a very lenient treatment during this WC. If I was of
the tinfoil-hat-wearing brigade, I'd be screaming "FIX!!!"...

A red can only follow 'negating a clear scoring chance' they scored,
so no need to call.

> 2. Villa slaps Izaguirre in the face, no card

Right after the keeper and Izaguirre both deliberately stomp on
Villa's feet. 3 red cards would have been appropiate, so it wasn't
precisely Spain who benefitted.

That's Torres for you...

Costa DID elbow Capdevila. And in any case, it was one minute to the
final whistle.

> 5. Pique two handed foul on Cardozo, yellow card

So? Cardozo fouled Pique first, the pk was correctly called, no card
needed.

> 6. Spanish encroach on three penalties against Paraguay

And the ref failed to call a PK of Fabregas right after that.

> 7. Ramos trips Ozil

Ozil tripped on his own, Ramos just happened to be nearby.

> 8. Ramos stamps on Podolski, no card, should have been a second yellow

Which happened right after the ref failed to call IIRC Boateng
tripping Ramos. Yellow and a dangerous FK not called.

Mr Mehdi is obsessed. Spain has won fair and square. I have the
suspicion that Mr Mehdi is an upstart idiot.

Barca Arsenal CL final - they did show a red card, but called back a
goal - ref did not play advantage well.

Simulation perhaps, in that he stayed collapsed on the ground for far
too long, but I don't think he dived - he tripped after completely
innocent contact with Estrada. Very poor decision by the ref to go back
and produce a yellow for this given that a goal was scored on the play.

This is at least possible, and quite likely, but Capdevila simulated to
a rather ridiculous degree. I am surprised he even fell down, given
that to do so in his own penalty area was risky.

He got a yellow card, which was richly deserved. Plus a penalty was
correctly awarded. A red card would only be justified if he had denied
an obvious goal scoring opportunity which was certainly not the case.
Absolutely moronic play by Pique.

>> 6. Spanish encroach on three penalties against Paraguay

And were denied a goal for one of them, and denied a penalty (because of
encroachment perhaps?) on another. So only one injustice there.

Thet bribed the refs. Tjey were being investigated by FIFA but FIFA at
one point went silent on the matter. This WC is fixed and if Spain
wins true football fans WILL NOT accept them as champions.
