I have been told that in my local pig station you will not rise higher than sergeant if you're not in the lodge. This from my cousin who is a catholic and a sergeant and has been told he will go no further up the ranks of piggledom as he won't join the cult. -- "Entire units of the Metropolitan Police and the Flying Squad and the drug squad were Freemasons. They all, in the end, were sent to prison. When you are bonded by an oath of mutual defence and loyalty, you may well find that it is extremely difficult to squeal on your corrupt brethren" Martin Short on BBC Newsnight 19/03/01

What a moronic question! You snipped out the answer to your own question just so you could look like a moronic bigot. On top of that, you tried to be specific to Christianity despite that fact that Jews can be Masons, and you failed to provide a specific definition for your interpretation of God. Since Christians disagree as to the definition of God using the same Bible, how could any rational person expect a fraternity to dictate a definition of God? Masonry requires belief in a single supreme being who is aware of and responsive to humanity. The personal religious beliefs of the individual are their own.

Since you want to stereotype a bit, let's see... Absolutely! Masons are dedicated to ethical and moral behavior. Masons are also forbidden from concealing, ignoring or invalidly excusing the offenses or crime of other Masons, so there is not worry of preferential treatment. Jews would also be very good because Judaism focuses so much on moral and ethical behavior in this life rather than focusing on Salvation. Of course Judaism's esteem of education means that an unusually high percentage of the Jewish population is "overqualified" for police work. Jews do make good judges though. Though personally, I prefer Jewish doctors. I have not known enough Wiccans to formulate an opinion on their general ethics or adherence to the Laws of the country (if you meant this to be in any way on-topic). While we are at it: maybe the French should all be chefs, the Germans all mechanics... ....or maybe we should just ignore you for being an idiot! Baldoni, I understand from another post that you are not qualified to become a Mason due to your criminal past. That is unfortunate for you. Of course, it also makes your question very hypocritical.
