Yup, last roll of the dice for the supposed "golden generation" of English
football.

Scotland is running it's usual ABE (Anyone But England) policy....so be
assured America, we are behind you! ;)

I will be incredibly pleased if the USA-England group match ends in a
2-2 tie ("draw" if you prefer).

I see no reason to believe that youth trumps experience, by the way,
especially in this game. Good defenders who have lost an edge on
their youthful sprints know when to get position on a younger forward
who is relying largely on a faster sprint to get a crossing strike
from the side of the penalty box. The younger tend to forget it is a
team sport and that the best goal is one where they make the assist.

Why are you posting in the tennis group, by the way? Just because you
make your nest there is no excuse.
