If this is a glimpse of what we can expect from England in the world cup,
then boy oh boy are we in for a treat.

Pretty poor really two own goals get us out of trouble, but who knows?

What, 3 different formations and 17 different players against the USA?

I have a sneaky suspicion that this was a friendly and Capello was trying a
few different things.

Don't talk shite. These pre-WC games aren't worth bothering with in
terms of the results, look at recent games involving Spain, Australia;
Serbia and France.

Nah I doubt he'll be switching around tactics and formations as much, doubt
if he'll be using as many players in a game, some of them players will not
be at the world cup.

It was his final look at the squad before he has to separate the wheat from
the chaff and to tinker with a few things before finalising his selection.

We get through the qualifying group with ease and praise is lavished on him,
a couple of warm up games before the world cup where the world isn't set
alight and the fickle mob are ready to give in already FFS.... get a grip.
