Ballack's had several of those, IIRC. Didn't he have one Champions' League disgrace when he should've been sent off for chasing and bumping the official (about 30 yards or so, if my memory serves)? Mike (The same one where Drogba should've been banned for assaulting same after the match...)

I wonder what it is about the mentality of a sporting gloryhunter that makes them so ungracious and undignified in defeat?

Rafas failure to sign a backstriker after the injury ridden season Torres had was a huge mistake. I might have felt otherwise in August, but that's the reason these people get paid a shitload of money and I don't, they should see these things coming. -- /jussi You're perfect, yes, it's true But without me you're only you * FNM

The names I was hearing (i.e. Carlton Cole) I wasn't too excited about. This Jovanovic guy if he's coming might be dependable though. RVN was a good link and the type of player who you need as an alternate striker (i.e. a proven veteran, or an up and coming youngster). When 4-2-3-1 is the formation it will always be challenging to bring in a good quality striker. Ngog is ok as an up and coming guy but he shouldn't be leading the line or playing by himself, it makes more sense to pair him up with Torres on occasional 4-4-2s.
