I'm so touched by the words of gratitude towards Liverpool's history
and stature, from the likes of SAF, Rooney and fans such as yourself
that we received heading into the Chelski game. I didn't know you held
us in such high regard!

If you aren't ashamed of the way your club played today then you are
no fan. As far as being bitter, we have nothing to be bitter about, we
never thought you were good enough to beat Chelsea in fact Wigan stand
a better chance playing at the Bridge next week than you ever did.
The best team always wins the league, it'll be no different this
year.
