You can walk off the field with a broken arm (this I know from personal experience, and that of several team-mates!). And it sounds like this isn't a particularly bad fracture, as SGE allegedly hasn't ruled out Drogba's participation yet.

About Drogba, Rene van der Kerkhof may have been playing with a hairline fracture in 1978 and he was awesome, so anything is possible. The Brits are going to miss Ferdinand badly. DK
