The fla-Flu rivalry is older (as framengo was originated from a Fluminense dissention) and more hyped at times, but the hatred between Vasco-fla is way deeper. Plus, framengo and Vasco have the two biggest fanbases among Rio de Janeiro teams, and have nationally widespread following (making it a nationally widespread rivalry). Abraço, Luiz Mello
