Probably some defected but it will be never announced officially unless the
"deserters" officially resurface in the western world. They are probably
illegal immigrant somewhere by now.

It was first announced 4 NK defected, but the north korean federation denied
and counter attacked by having 24 (hence one too many !) players during
training.

If any player defected, they families would be sent to a concentration camp.
