The brand new Estadio Omnilife in Guadalajara will stage
history a few days after inauguration. This is Chivas' first
Libertadores finals appearance and the third time for Inter,
runners-up in 1980 and champions in 2006. These clubs
have met in Copa Sudamericana 2008 semifinals,
eventually won by Inter:
- Nov 12, Guadalajara: Inter 2-0;
- Nov 19, Porto Alegre: Inter 4-0.
