Okay it was only a meaningless pre-season game, but after the generally
boring World Cup it's good to have club football to watch again. Proper order
I say! A Michael Essien goal giving a youthful Chelsea FC a 1-0 victory over
Crystal Palace this afternoon is the beginning of the road to the new season.
