Tell us some more stuff about your sister. I'll bet she's thrilled
that we all know she's a lazy, benefit cheat with a criminal record.

What a sneery remark that is.

I take no pleasure from that but I disregarded that side of the famly some
time ago precisely for the reasons I have given. But I've revealed enough
and I only have done to prove my point.

Now hows your C02 levels?

Twenty-five years ago there was only one natural disaster at a time. Now
you need RSS feed to keep track of them. Africa is almost totally dependent
on NGO for relief. There is so much conflict and horrible governance in
much of Africa that the governments of the wealthier world simply will not
get involved. Water is a big problem in Africa and if the lack of water
goes on it will begin to lower the population of all of Africa. Not to even
mention conflict, disease, and plain old starvation. People are not going
to starve and they are not going to go thirsty either. When things start to
get desperate they will just start killing everyone and everything else
around them. Wait, that is already happening.

If the wealthier nations help the poorer nations then the people of the
poorer nations will just produce more children. And then every problem gets
even worse.

Take Haiti as a microcosm of all the nations that need help. The governance
is beyond horrible and it is hugely overpopulated. So what would you do for
Haiti is you had the resources of the donor nations? And remember that
there is absolutely no conflict in Haiti. Everybody gets along but nobody
has enough of anything. No homes, no land, almost no effective governance,
ruined infrastructure, pitiful economy, and so on.

And then if you can get your mind around what it would take to provide
meaningful aid to Haiti try to imagine a land that does have conflict.
Nearly impossible to imagine, let alone implement.

There are just about 220 nations in the world depending on how you do the
counting. I am really proud of the top fifty. I really despair for the
quality of life in the other 170.
