formerly of Hertha and Spurs ? How has he been playing of late and what
happened to Andre Santos ? Marcelo ?

Is Luisao really better than Naldo (among others) ?

Quite a comeback. How has he been playing?

Don't get Baptista at all. Not even a starter for Roma.

I was expecting Adriano in there.

WHy is the squad at 23 already, when Other countries are naming larger
groups ?

And Vasco. Yes.

He is playing very well as a midfielder for Cruzeiro.

Can't comment on André Santos. Marcelo is on the 30-player list, as
one of the 7 substitutes.

As far as I know, he's not exactly a starter for framengo, so his
selection is kind of odd in a way. But Dunga seems to trust him.

He performs well for the NT as a sub. I personally like the options he
brings to the team - but I have no knowledge whatsoever about his
recent form, so I can't really say whether this was a good idea.

That was one of the question marks before the announcement, but
thankfully Dunga left him out.

Brazil also named 30 players, but the other 7 were named later in the
afternoon. I suppose the coaching staff/CBF wanted to establish from
the get go who are the 23 World Cup players and who are the immediate
substitutes.

I like the approach. No suspense, no BS talk in the press (more than
the inevitable ammount, that is).

Do you think it was so as not to raise hopes of Ronaldinho being in
the squad of 23, after being named in the squad of 30?
Talking of which, why is everybody naming a squad of 30 aswell as the
squad of 23?
