I personally like the options he brings to the team - but I have no knowledge whatsoever about his recent form, so I can't really say whether this was a good idea. Brazil also named 30 players, but the other 7 were named later in the afternoon. I suppose the coaching staff/CBF wanted to establish from the get go who are the 23 World Cup players and who are the immediate substitutes. I like the approach. Talking of which, why is everybody naming a squad of 30 aswell as the squad of 23? |
