From: The Scrutineer on 30 Mar 2010 16:43 2-1 to the Germans, great result for the neutral, with the almost guarantee of goals to come!!! For once in his career, Patrice Evra made a mistake, and so crucial was his lapse in concentration, it cost United the game!!! Rooney, Deflection(Ribery) and Olic with the goals, Rooney off injuring his ankle in the lead up to the winner, Robben and Schweinsteiger to comeback, looking ripe for Bayern!!! But it will be fortress Old Trafford!!!

Excellent game by Lahm I thought. Nice to see Giggs play, though I would of started him.

Please, Bayern have a great chance, it's will take a big effort, and knowing all the players have bags of experience (Juve away, Firenze away) they have produced more often than not. My take on your comment is as follows, Bayern = Enigma, lets hope they play well!!! >> >> But it will be fortress Old Trafford!!! > > i am hoping that I can find a replay of the Lyon v Bordeaux game as i > slowly get drunk tonite. > Haha, have fun doing so my friend, spare a thought for me, I had to wake up earlier than normal, at 5am to watch it, > Excellent game by Lahm I thought. > Nice to see Giggs play, though I would of started him. > Lahm is a top class player, that should strive to play like that in every game if he is to move to the next level, on Giggs, don't know about starting him, he had a broken arm a few weeks back, and he wears a skin coloured protective cast on it, he may not be 100% fit!!! I hope Rooney plays, as a neutral I love seeing him play, but there's another side to me that says how will Man Utd cope without him? I'd say like Liverpool without Torres!!!

Bayern are no Bolton, but in your defence, Berbatov is no Voronin/Babel/N'Gog/El Zhar/Kuyt/Crouch(in the past) United still lose out by not having him in there as Liverpool do Torres!!! On another issue for United, Robben v Neville, a mauling on the way unless Rafael plays or O'Shea somehow recovers!!!
