The only problem with your theory is that Robben will likely play most
of the game on the right. But then if Altintop gave so much trouble to
Evra and co. I don't see why Robben will not give them even more
trouble.

I'm glad Bayern got up to win at the end as they fully deserved it
having out played the defensive-minded United throughout the game, and
especially considering they have mostly useless stikers such as Gomez
on the team.

I really doubt that he would stay on the right for most match!!! Though
Altintop, what a great game!!!

Me too, it sets up the return leg very nicely indeed!!!

Don't know if they are useless, but ineffective might flatter them, reports
for the past few seasons suggest that they may bid for Bendtner which won't
be so bad I guess!!!

So no evidence then that you can fluke a CL win? Didn't think so.

You Liverpool fans have the same problem, that's why you haven't won
the league in twenty years

This is from Luis Van Gaal, via the Guardian...

"Just look at the statistics. Rooney is their top scorer with 34 goals.
Dimitar Berbatov has 12 goals but until this weekend their
second-highest scorer was the opposition, with 11 own goals."
