Westermann is not too bad attacking but a bad defensive player so i doubt he gets to start? Always the "good brother" Boateng as well. > > Schweinsteiger > > Marin Özil Kroos Podolski i am not convinced that Loew will start Marin, or even Kroos for that matter? Probably go with Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Jansen if he is fit, Trochowski or possibly Kheidiera? > > Klose Podolski and klose up front. Though I think Cacau may see a lot of action? I think Loew is a pretty conservative coach and will not make too many changes. Though i do hope I am wrong. My idea of an exciting team would be Lahm Mertesaker Boateng Beck Ozil Kroos Schweinsteiger Trochowski/Marin Podolski Kiessling > > Just a bit more attacking than the scheme with > Khedira and Schw. and Marin Özil Podolski in front > of them. > > Joachim

From: Crisstti on 18 May 2010 22:17 Interestingly, Ballack seems to think that the whole thing might indeed give Germany a boost: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Sports/Events-Tournaments/FIFA-World-Cup/Top-stories/Germany-strong-enough-without-me-Ballack/articleshow/5946313.cms And a very good article about it: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/19/sports/soccer/19iht-SOCCER.html

And it is a good idea to not have a scoring midfielder like Bastian or a striker like Podolski/Klose as the team captain.

I don't usually watch the Bundesliga, but I've never seen him getting to upset or out of control. |
