Agreed, but they are almost always rewarded when it impedes a player of getting to the ball. This is the case of De Rossi. > >>>>> and that newspaper you mention in another thread does its best to >>>>> throw >>>>> the sport into the ground. >>>> >>>> That paper is the major paper in Australia, it's appalling. >>> >>> The only appalling issue is it bashes football. >> >> It would be ok if it was just that. >> >> It also bashes other cultures, except the Australian culture of course. > > If you read it, stop reading it, and read other papers that don't *bash* > cultures. From: address_is on 22 Jun 2010 08:43 Australia are a disgrace to world football. They have been whinging for four years, since they were deservedly knocked out by the eventual world champions Italy. Every month for the last four years we've had to listen to "we woz robbed". Players like Cahill, who think it is acceptable to play like a thug going into tackles trying to break legs should be jailed. Cahill was deservingly red carded and should have received a 2 year ban from all football anywhere. Harry Kewell, the other piece of work, who thinks it is acceptable to stop a goal with his arm on the goal line was also rightfully red carded. But he closed his eyes and couldn't have done that intentionally they said he said. Utter bullshit. Why is no one asking the right question. What idiot closes his eyes on the goal line when handling the ball!! It's the same bullshit that Lucas Neill used in 2006. Why on earth did this fool drop to the ground in the penalty area the way he did at Grosso's feet. An utter fool who got what he deserved. A nation of whiners and cheats. I hope these clowns don't qualify ever again. We're going to be listening to how they were robbed of the cup again for the next four years. God help us!!
