Yes, the rumours are about; just can't see him going back to Spain as I
don't think the top three/four clubs will be interested whilst the rest of
them cannot afford him.

If anything he wants Champions League football so it will be Spurs or
Arsenal.

The quotes from Kenwright were a tad worrying so I would guess that these
rumours have legs.

He is obviously unsettled and wants to move on so let him; to me if he hadnt
been out for a year injured he would get my full blessing but I just feel
that he owes us another season.

Kenwright said last night: "It is true that David and myself have spoken to
Mikel on a couple of occasions this summer and tried to persuade him his
future lies with us."

He would be a terrible loss to the club but if he left under those
conditions then he would be fully backed by all blues.
