Do you have examples of both?

Do you have examples of both? Geez, he's played in 3 international finals tournaments, with players such as Rui Costa and Deco playmaking, and he's been an irrelevance.

He barely played with Rui Costa. And yes, I forgot he played with Deco, but they went to one Euro final and a WC semi-final with that team. Ronaldo may not have set the world alight but he was a key member of that team, he wasn't an "irrelevance" and he sure as hell didn't "flop badly".
