Please parse the statement correctly. I never said he is not a good player. But I disagree that he is some sort of genius. My statement about rating him is in this context. He was obviously one of the best players in Europe last season.

Problem is, Argentina have neither. The current Argentina team is a very good barometer of how good/great Messi truly is. If he's only lighting it up when he's a sideshow then he's no Kaka or Ronaldo. |
