Based on the average of 3.16 GPG between them, I think the score
will be Arg 1 ( Otamendi ) Bra 2 ( Luís Fabiano x2 ). Wish
Argentina had a player like Luís. 23 goals from 32 games.
Didnt know that before, much better than at club level.

Hi! I know that I had to pick Andujar for patriotic pride, but I've
already picked Marquinhos for his name alone, so I've already did
enough for ideals (now it's their turn to do something for me!).

I guess that Maradona wants to win or lose in his own way.

Do you think that Otamendi is better? Or have you picked him (and not
Dominguez) just because he's younger? :)

Him being Veron?

Since as far back as I can remember keeping tab on this record, which
was around 1990, they've been neck and neck.

If it means anything, it's that they are due!

One thing I like about him is that he has his own ideas
of how to play, and is willing to pick young Argentina-based
players, unlike Pekerman and to a greater extent Biela.
Of course, that is not pragmatic, since in general these
players will lack experience and make mistakes. But since
both Biela and Pekerman flattered to deceive, I believe
there is no reason to go with the old strategy of safe
players. Unfortunately, there are just not enough top
talents in Argentina at this point to win the WC over
Brasil, Spain, Germany and England.

Oh he is better. Domínguez is not first choice.
But there is another thing.I think it is good to pick the
2 centrals from the same club side. If I were a NT manager,
I would always do that.
