: Um, an Arsenal fan can hardly blame any manager for post match comments,
: thats just silly...

There is an enormous difference between something like complaining about a bad
refereeing decision and an ugly statement like "typical Germans". Shameful.

: And Sir Rednose taking defeat graciously, no one really expected
: anything like that, right?

'Sir Rednose' seems to be intended to refer to drunkeness when it's well-known
that Alex Ferguson suffers from rosaceia. Mocking his red face is messed up.

This can be called xenophobia. UEFA will banned him for 1 game. :-)

It's tough to be a frenchman, I guess. You're trapped by history to be
disliking your largest neighbors (and they -- you). But your clubs
never win, so you have to be content with the failures of the Italian
last year, the English this year, the Spanish next year, and the
German in a few years :-)

Celebrate away, Pat. But do wonder what would you feel if L'OM would
actually win it one day (without cheating) :-)
