Not my list. I liked them !

I liked Estudiantes, still do. Bilardo was part of that team, and it
was a cynical, physical outfit feared by the Eurocrotos.

Not by me. I enjoyed their win, especially when they did Portugal
in the Stadium of Light.

Thats interesting. I guess Chel$ki won it last season? The reason
I put post-07 is that the earlier team was probably as skilled but
had some characters like Rijkaard, Oleguer, Marquez, Eto'o and even
Ronaldinho who are not universally liked. The current one seems to
be
full of cherubs frolicking in the sunshine. The baddest dude on the
team
is Dani Alves - give me a break!

Ah, but that is the new Bayern, not the old one. ;)

:)
Yes, I always wondered about that. After all Gladbach was known for
counter attacking football, no? And playing for coutner attacks means
that your basic setup is defensive...

Yes, but Gladbach had good success, too. So why was the public so much
more sympathetic to them?

Well, in the end the Bayern players were the ones who turned around
the team and led to the WC win.

How did they change that?

Sure, but they were a minnow, their win a huge upset. You can't expect
a minnow to be successfull with attractive football.

Yes, I still can't believe that he was allowed back on the pitch and
is allowed to manage.

Let me correct this:
Except that the Milan of the 80's and early 90's used the money that
they didn't have in the first place better than Chelski.

Chelsea now.

Some of the "WE play REAL football unlike you" or "only one team came
to play football" vibes from them sometimes is a turnoff. I wanted
the Chelski to dump them last season, and I went as far as rooting for
the Mancs in the final.

> Denmark 86 - 92

Yes. That 1992 team was hard nto to support.

> France 82/86 ( Platini )

First soccer memory, albeit hazy, is their penalty win over Brazil in
1986.

> AC Milan early 90's

Hated them.

I liked Korea 2002 (will probably make others most hated)
France 2006 (Old men Vieira and Zidane return, and show everyone how
its done)
Romania 1994 (Hagi!)

I liked Marseille of that era, and I was in love with Stoichkov-
Romario connection.

That's when I was new to football (started watching in 1990
thereabouts).

My personal dislike list would be:

Rangers always: for their supporters' offensive chants.
Corinthians '05: they were good enough (their attack was Nilmar and
Tevez!) to win without dodgy refereeing and unprecedented tinkering,
but instead... You can imagine why everyone else was glad when they
were relegated in '07.
Grêmio '94-'97: too freaking lucky, though they had a decent team and
the genius of Scolari.
Juventude '98-early '08: they seemed to play the games of their lives
against us and drop the games against Grêmio.
Zenit: for their racist policy.
Boca Juniors '00-'06: refereeing seemed to be always on their side in
the continental competitions, although they were also very good. In
2007, I just couldn't hate them too much. :-)
Brasiliense always: they're just the toy of a crook.
Barueri '08-today: just because they don't have supporters, it's a
bland company.
São Caetano early '00s: to a lesser extent than Barueri, as they had
a little local support, but still too successful for their ridiculous
home attendances.
Calciopoli Juventus, although they have a very nice Propaganda
Machine. :-)

My likeable list:

Internacional always: I don't have to explain.
Guarany (Bagé-RS): although they currently lie in the second flight
of our state league, they're still the only countryside team to have
won more than one State League title. And they're my grandfather's
favorites!
15 de Novembro (Campo Bom-RS): they went very far in a Copa do Brasil
and reached three State League finals in the early '00s and were sort
of the Bizarro world Juventude. :-)
Guarani (Campinas-SP): no other countryside club has so much
tradition (except for Santos who are not "exactly" countryside and are
a very special case), although most people prefer their unlucky rivals
Ponte Preta.
Spain '08: about time they won something again!
Cameroon '90s: very nice to watch and with a nice underdog factor.
Nacional (PAR): so picturesque and nice!
Torino '40s: I think you all know the story.
Estudiantes '08-'09: much nicer than the late '60s version,
especially their supporters.
Independiente Medellín: their rivals bought success with coke money,
and they've pulled a nice upset on Grêmio in a critical moment. :-)

Tchau!
