The difference in points between 3rd and 4th is more significant than it
looks.

Milan did it in the 1991-1992 season, far, far, far more impressively
under Capello.

Sure they will. The most infamous handball post Maradona was Tulio,
ironically, against Argentina in a Copa America match in the 1990s. A
handball in a Brazil vs Argentina match is a much bigger deal than once
in a PLAY-OFF between France and Ireland.

The pig's head thrown at Figo when he returned to Barca, that was
considerably more noteworthy than the Henry handball.

I did the research. Arsenal are the only team in the history of the
English league to do this. In Italy, Milan did it in '92, the only
time also. In Spain, it's only happened twice (A.Bilbao '30, R.Madrid
'32). It's never happened in Germany or France. In net, it's happened
4 times in over 500 seasons in Europe's five biggest leagues. So I'd
say it's a pretty damn big deal, maybe in the top five most notable
events of the decade.

Try taking those EPL centric glasses off.
