Prefer not to remember that along with forgetting the loss to the Portugal B team and Latvia in in 2004. But it is all included in my "German-centric" mention of it being the worst decade for German soccer since the 60's ( or longer?). > Glazer's take over of Man United > Liverpool's comeback against Milan I am surprised I did not mention that, must be another result i choose to forget? > Mourinho > Roman Abramovich takeover of Chelsea > Zidane Headbutt > > > Speaking of lists, do you still do the World Class Player Lists? > > I get round to them when I have time. > > --http://soccer-europe.com > Rss feed :http://soccer-europe.com/RSS/News.xml

I was at that match and what makes it all the more remarkable is Germany's very good start... Jancker scored early and Deisler should have had the 2-0. Right after that Owen scores a fluke, and it all goes into Mad Hatter Land. Donkey Heskey got two goals in the 2nd half!

Owen's first wasn't a fluke. he slotted the ball into an open goal. And Heskey scored only once. Kahn was abominable, just a day or two after running his mouth off. |
