That is the south american version and they did it in reverse order
but yes you are correct. I did actually watch the games on TV,
impressive wins for Quito. OK that should be in my top 10 as well

It seems like it was so much longer than 2000, watched that cup as
well. Somewhat lucky getting out of the group stage by drawing lots,
but it was the last time the Canadian national team won anything. Once
Holger Osiek left the national team became a joke. The new guy
( Stephen Hart) does not impress me either, he has to be better than
Mitchell though? I will remove Canada's utter failure of the past 9
years and replace it with Quito winning back to back continental cups.

Not entirely correct. Perugia went the whole 1978-79 season undefeated, but
finished 2nd behind Milan.
Those were the glory days of catenaccio, 0-0 draws, no foreigners in Serie A
and parity.

I meant winning the title undefeated.
